Memory

Easter is an important time because it celebrates Jesus dying on the cross to forgive our sins and coming back to life three days later.

In this game, the cards represent different parts of the Easter story. The donkey represents how Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey and was welcomed by crowds of people. The 30 pieces of silver represent the money that someone was paid to betray Jesus. The communion bread and juice remind us of the last supper that Jesus shared with his disciples. The cross reminds us of the sacrifice that Jesus made for us. And finally, the empty tomb represents when Jesus came back to life!
